All across this house, you’ll find white chocolate candy canes, edible snowflakes, sugar poinsettias, and over 10,000 pieces of gingerbread. Chocolate Santa (yes, you heard that right), nutcrackers, toy soldiers, and snowmen that are all hand-painted by the Grand Floridian Bakery team led by Pastry Chef de Cuisine Kristine Farmer. The 500 hours spent baking gingerbread and 480 hours spent decorating are well worth it. It stands over 17 feet tall with 612 pounds of sugar, 1012 pounds of flour, 112 pounds of gingerbread spice, over 4000 castle gingerbread bricks, and 12 sprinklings of magical pixie dust! Snow White is wearing all red and a Santa hat in this art display. Each of the panels above the window shutters includes a painted scene of Disney characters enjoying a winter wonderland. This one features Mickey and Minnie dressed in Santa-inspired outfits. The ingredients display sign has also been added, and is surrounded by poinsettias and other greenery. Celebrating the 50th Anniversary, this gingerbread cookie ornament has Mickey and Minnie sharing a kiss under fireworks. The edge of the cookie is completely covered in anniversary sprinkles. A twist on an old favorite — this is a cream-filled gingerbread and latte whoopie pie with a “GF” Grand Floridian chocolate medallion on top. As you can see, no discounts will be applied for any of these treats. At one end of the display is an information board showing photos of how the house was constructed. The entrance to the house has two porches with gold railings and trim.
The Haunted Mansion Gingerbread House has been materializing for guests of the attraction for more than 20 years from Halloween to the holidays. With three moving elements and nearly 300 pounds, this display took over 20 days to build and decorate with 13 cast members. Don’t forget to take a ride to see it for yourself before Jan. 8, 2024. This year’s gingerbread house, which still has theming and decorations celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World, is on the east side of the resort.

The shop’s menu is posted at multiple points around the house. There are also small Christmas village houses, nutcrackers, and trees covered in string lights. Rapunzel appears to be wearing mistletoe in her hair and a red and white shawl over her shoulders, no doubt dreaming of the presents waiting under the tree on Christmas Day.
